The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The first lion has its back right foot broken and restuck with some small damages along the break.
The tip of the tongue is restored.
The second lion has two legs broken and restuck. There are some natural flaws to the belly area.
Both have some three small holes which have been filled-in to the backs and under the feet. There are some minor nicks, wear, surface scratches and some natural flaws within the stone.
