The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The white jade plaque (6 cm high x 7.3 cm wide)
- There are some minor chips and minute nicks to the edges.
- Two corners might have been slightly polished.
- The stone is of milky-white colour with some snowflake inclusions.

The grey and russet plaque (6.6 cm. high x 8.5 cm. wide)
- There are some minor nicks to the extremities.
- The stone is of light-grey colour with areas of russet.
- The jade has some snowflake inclusions, veins and natural fissures.
