The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- The neck is broken and reattached to the body with associated overspraying.
- There is a restoration to the end of the tail with associated overspraying.
- A few glaze gaps to the end of the tail.
- Some fritting the the edges of the tails.
- A minute area possibly slightly polished on the edges of the tail.
- Few minor firing flaws.
- A few minute nicks to the raised feathers on top of the head.
General age-related surface wear as can be expected.
