The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The dish:
A small firing crack to the mouth rim.
A few very short hairline cracks not visible to the naked eye.
A small restored chip to the mouth rim.
The group:
A few old chips to the edges and rims.
A restoration to the proper left hand of a figure.
The box and cover:
A hairline crack to the mouth rim going down to one side.
A few nicks to the rims.
A few firing cracks.
General age-related surface wear, scratches and firing flaws as can be expected.
