We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Brush pot:
- significant restoration with associated overpainting to all four sides and entire interior, possibly broken and restuck
- a few hairline cracks to the mouth rim
- all four low feet now loss
- small chips and frits to edges and corners
< br> Cup:
- the exterior of the cup and half of the interior of the mouth rim appear matte and slightly pale discoloration, possibly coated
- restoration to a section of the mouth rim
