The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The dish is in good overall condition with surface scratches (some of them deep) and wear to the enamels.

The tureen and cover:
A nick to the tip of the cover's finial.
An approx. 4.5 cm. long vertical hairline crack going down from the mouth rim, associated with a very small chip to the inner mouth rim.
A handle has been detached, reattached and restored, with four associated filled-in holes around the handle.
A few areas of abrasions.

General age-related surface wear, scratches and firing faults as can be expected.
