The two-handled jar: - One of the handles has been broken and reattahced with associated restoration. - There is a small bruise to the lower edge of the bowl, measuring 0.5 cm long. - There are a few tiny losses. - There are three letters in black ink to the base, reading 'K.G.A.'. - The cover with an area of restoration to the rim with associated overpainting and overspraying, and some small associated losses, measuring approx. 5 cm x 0.6 cm. - There are traces of a blue pugment to he underside of the cover.
The ewer: - There are a few shallow chips to the interior of the aperture. - There is restoration to the end of the spout. - There is a paper label to the base reading 'K'ANG-HI (1662-1722)'.
- Both with age-related surface wear, rubbing, small enamel flakes and scratches as can be expected.
