The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- 1/6th of the rim is broken and restored with associated overspraying.
- There is an approx. 4 cm. long vertical hairline crack on the rim.
- There are some minute losses of enamels.
- There are minute flaws in the enamels.
- There are two chips and some flat nicks to the foot rim.
- There is a very minute frit to the top rim.
- There are a few minute firing cracks under the base.
- General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
