The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

The body:
- The neck has been restored and entirely oversprayed, the restoration does not allow us to determine the extent of the damage
- There is an approx. 2 x 1 cm. piece of porcelain missing inside the body (not visible outside), possibly original to the firing process.
- There is a small star-crackle only visible inside the body.
- There is a small chip and some small glaze flakes to the foot.

The cover:
- There is an approx. 12 cm. long star-crack to the cover.
- There is an old flat chip to the inner rim.
- There is a small firing crack to the inner rim.

- There are some scattered short deep scratches.
- There are a few scattered enamel flakes on both the cover and the body.

General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
