The cup: An approx. 8 cm. long hairline crack going down from the mouth rim with little associated overspraying inside. A few chips to the glaze on the chilong's back legs. A nick to the chilong's tail. Some wear to the enamels, especially on the base. Some small firing cracks. The stand in good overall condition. General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
The ewer and cover: The cover with a few glaze burst bubbles to the rim. There is a crack around the top section of the high handle. The tip of the spout has been restored. A few very minute nicks to a few feet. General age-related surface wear as can be expected. A circular paper label reading 'MARCHANT / KANGXI / 1662-1722 / LONDON' on the base.
