The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The smaller censer:
Some nicks to the foot rim.
Some glaze crackles which is characteristic of this type of glaze.
A few glaze gaps.

The larger censer:
Some damages on the foot rim and to the feet.
Some glaze gaps.
Firing cracks.
Some surface scratches.
Wood stand and cover: age cracks, a section of the cover restuck, some nicks to the rims.

General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
