The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
- The snuff bottle with the equestrian raised decoration with a small chip to the top rim and few nicks to the raised decoration.
- The snuff bottle with the red finial with few minute nicks to the top rim, the spoon is missing.
- The snuff bottle with the pink finial with minute nicks to the top rim, the pink finial is restuck.
- The snuff bottle with the dark rim finial with a nick to the foot rim and to a handle, the spoon is missing.
Otherwise, the snuff bottles are in overall good condition, with natural inclusions within the stones and with some slight age-related surface wear / scratches as can be expected.
