A GROUP OF CHINESE ART AUCTION CATALOGUES AND JOURNALS, INCLUDING THE HATCHER COLLECTION CATALOGUES
The group comprises approximately 300 books in total, including two significant auction catalogues of the Hatcher Cargo Collection offered at Christie's Amsterdam, Fine and Important Late Ming and Transitional Porcelain, recently recovered from an Asian vessel in the South China Sea: The Property of Captain Michael Hatcher, 14 March 1984 and Fine and Important Late Ming and Transitional Porcelain: The second and final part of the Hatcher Collection, recently recovered from an Asian vessel in the South China Sea, 12 & 13 June 1984. The group also includes many Christie's South Kensington catalogues from the 1990s and 2000s, Parke Bernet Galleries catalogues from the 1950s and 60s, around 30 Bulletins of the Idemitsu Museum of Arts from the 1980s and 90s, and around 40 Arts of Asia journals predominantly from the 1970s.
