The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The two figures (28 cm and 26.5 cm high) :
- There are some firing flaws.
- There are few very minute nicks to the edges and the raised decoration.
- Otherwise, they are in overall good condition with some slight age-related wear as can be expected.
The plate (Diam. 21.9 cm) :
- There are some firing flaws.
- There are some flats chips around the mouth and foot rims.
- There are few touch-ups.
The dish (Diam. 27 cm) :
- There is some fritting associated with some flat chips to the mouth and foot rims.
The ginger jars :
- The 17.8 cm high has some restorations to the neck and mouth rim, and some chips to the foot rim.
- There are some chips to the rims.
- There are some losses of glaze.
- There are some wears and scratches.
(Heights: 12 cm, 12.5 cm, 17.5 cm and 17.8 cm.)
All the porcelains with some general age-related wear as can be expected.
