The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The largest screen:
-There are some extensive rubbing to the inscriptions.
-It has not been inspected outside the nanmu frame.

The square screen (14.7 x13.7 cm.)
-The screen is mounted to a velvet frame and has not been inspected outside the mounting.

The unframed screen (16 x 20.8 cm):
-There is a shallow chip to the right edge

- All screens with some surface wear and scratches, as well as some scattered nicks to the edges.
