The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
< br> All of these pieces have scratches and surface wear in keeping with their age.
< br> Painted enamel bowl: Light crazing. Rubbing to the enamels and some tiny losses/nicks, in particular beneath the mouth rim and the foot rim. Some pitting to the enamels and areas of glaze crawl within the foot.
< br> First coral-ground dragon dish: few scattered iron spots to base. Paper label to base reading "P 327." Very light scattered kiln grit to foot ring.
< br> Second coral-ground dragon dish: shallow chip to rim measuring 0.4 cm x 0.2cm. Paper label to base reads "P 328".
< br> Larger coral-ground dish: light rubbing to the gilt and enamels. The dish has been broken in two pieces and restored with associated areas of overpainting and over spraying. There is a semi-circular area of restoration to the rim at one of the break measuring max. approx. 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
