The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-There are chips to the extremities.
-One ear on one of the handles has been off and re-stuck.
-There are several chips to the rim, the largest measuring approx.. 0.3 x 0.3 cm.
-There is a waxy residue covering the mouth rim and the interior, measuring approx. 5.5 x 6 cm.
-There are some shallow chips to the underside of the foot rim.
-There is a long natural flaw line going through the base, with associated smaller cracks.
