We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Some minute nicks to the rims.
A 0.8 cm. long section of the box's lower rim ground down.
Two thin cracks to the cover's rim.
A dent to the cover associated with a short crack.
A black stain inside the cover.
Wear to the gilding on the cover's and box's rim.
Age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
