We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The jade panels:
- There are some minor nicks and small chips to the edges of the panels.
- The stone is of an even pale greenish-white tone with snowflake inclusions, natural fissures and veins.
The metal mount:
- The top frame is slightly dented at a few areas.
- The circular suspension is broken at two section, one with losses of the openwork foliage decoration.
There is some general age-related wear overall.
