The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are some frittings and several chips to the mouth rim, one has been slightly polished on a corner.
- Fritting to the rims.
- Small firing spots all over.
- The cover : some firing cracks around the base of the finial have been filled-in, frittings and few chips to the rim, some chips to the inner rim.
General age-related surface wear, scratches and firing flaws as can be expected.
