The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
There are some fritting / nicks to the rims and edges, espacially to one vase.
One vase: with two small shallow chips to the glaze on the mouth rim.
The other vase: with a small chip to the glaze under the mouth rim, a few glaze gaps associated with nicks to the glaze of the gaps' rims near the foot, a large firing spot (diam. approx. 0.6 cm.) to the body, a yellow-ish glaze fault to the foot rim, very few old small chips under the foot.
Both with general age-related surface wear, scratches and firing faults as can be expected.
