The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
- There is a shock to the body of a vase with associated losses of enamel.
- Some losses to the enamels all over, including to the friezes on the feet, a few of which filled-in.
- There are some minute nicks to the edges.
- Some cracks, especially under the base.
- There is some pitting to the enamels as can the expected.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
