The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The pair of 'cockerel' plates:
- One plate with a chip to the foot rim associated with a hairline crack to the base.
- A few glaze gaps.
- A few small losses of enamel.
- Wear to the enamels.
- Some glaze crackles.
The pair of 'Anne of Hanover' plates:
- Both plates with a few tiny chips / nicks to the rim.
- Wear to the decoration.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
