The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The floral dish:
- There are four hairline cracks going down from the mouth rim, one of them with an associated loss along the crack.
- A few flat chips to the foot rim.
- The inscription 'N. 176' engraved on the back.
The pair of 'poppy' dishes:
- Some small nicks to the rims on both dishes.
- Some glaze crackles.
General age-related surface wear as can be expected.
