The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
- Minute nicks to the rims.
- Both sauceboats a crack near the handle going down from the mouth rim, one sauceboat with an additional hairline crack going down from the mouth rim.
- One cover with two chips.
- The other cover with a section of the rim broken and restored with an associated crack going toward the finial.
- Wear to the gilding and the enamels.
- A few enamel flakes.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
