The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
- There is wear and rubbing to the lacquered surfaces on both stools as expected.
- Both mat seats are probably later replacements.
- Both have had work to the underside of the stools.
- One stool with the top not sitting flush with the base and difficult to separate from the base.
There is general age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
