The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The vases have not been examined without their gilt-bronze mount.
- One vase with a small flake to the mouth rim and a few very tiny minute nicks to the foot rim.
- The other vase with an approx. 6.5 cm. long hairline to the body, a short hairline crack to the neck, a short Y-shaped hairline to the neck, two small flat chips to the mouth rim and a small flat chip to the foot rim.
General age-related surface wear and scratches as can be expected.
