A PAIR OF ORMOLU-MOUNTED FAMILLE ROSE YELLOW-GROUND SGRAFFIATO VASES AND COVERS
CHINA, THE PORCELAIN, 18TH CENTURY
The vases are each decorated to the rounded bodies with scattered sprays of lotus, chrysanthemum, prunus and peony, on a yellow ground incised with foliate scrolls. They are raised on an ormolu stand with tripod dolphin feet and are fitted with an ormolu neck, interior and finial.
