Lot Essay

The building depicted in the dishes is Yinxin shiwu, the study room of the famous official Tao Shu (1779-1839) also named Yun Ting during the Jiaqing (1796-1820) and Daoguang (1820-1850) period. The iron red mark reads Yun Ting Jingzhi, 'made for Yun Ting with respect'.
