The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The first dish :
- There are some tiny minute nicks to the edge.
- There is an area of slight wear to enamels on the cherry blossoms.

The second dish :
- There are some minute nicks to the foot rim.
- There are some areas of slight wear to enamels.
- There are some firing flaws in the center of the dish.

Otherwise, both dishes are in good condition, with some age-related surface wear / scratches, and wear to the gilding as can be expected.
