We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There is wear to the iron-red decoration.
- The gilding on the flat top rim is worn.
- There is a very minute nick to the mouth rim and to an edge.
- There is a very short faint hairline on the mouth rim.
- A short section of the mouth rim might gave been polished.
- There are a few minute firing flaws and bubble gaps to the rims.
- The stopper and the spoon are missing.
Otherwise, the snuff bottle is in good overall condition with general age-related surface wear as can be expected.
