The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired their initial manufacture.
The largest dish:
-There are several scattered shallow chips and polished areas to the mouth rim, the largest measuring 5.5 cm. long
-There are a few tiny nicks to the foot rim
-light age-related surface wear and scratches
The two dishes with ladies:
-One dish has a restored restuck section, with overpainting measuring approx. 9 cm x 3 cm; a few tiny nicks to the foot rim
-The other dish has a shallow chip to the foot rim, measuring approx.. 3 cm. x 0.3 cm., a few further scattered nicks
The dish with scholar and attendant:
-There are scattered chips to the mouth rim, the largest measuring approx.. 0.4 cm. long
-There are several scattered chips to the foot rim
The landscape dish:
-a grounded chip to foot rim, measuring approx.. 2 cm. x 0.5 cm.
-some kiln flaws to the base
