The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
The coral-glazed vase:
- Good condition.
The larger bottle vase:
- The mouth rim possibly polished.
- A minute chip filled-in to the mouth rim and a star-crack starting from the mouth rim.
- Abrasions around the outer mouth rim, possibly due to a former mount.
- The foot rim with three restored chips.
- Glaze crackles as can be expected.
The smaller baluster vase:
- Chips/nicks to the foot rim.
The larger baluster vase:
- One chip to the mouth rim.
- A few small nicks to the foot rim.
General age-related surface wear and scratches.
