The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

Fingered citron:
A small chip to a leaf. Some nicks to the edges and extremities, some of which possibly polished.

Crane:
Some nicks to the edges and extremities.
Natural brownish inclusions within the stone.

Carving of two mythical beasts:
A natural russet flaw line and very few minute russet inclusions within the stone.
A nick to a mythical beast's face.

Twin crane:
Natural russet inclusions within the stone.
The ends of the beak of a crane possibly polished.

General age-related surface wear as can be expected.
