The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The 'citrus' group:
Natural russet and cloudy inclusions, and a few short flaw lines within the stone.
A few scattered small bruises to the surface.
Very few minute nicks to the edges and relief decoration.

The 'bat' group:
A few minute nicks to the edges and rims.
A small bruise on the side of a coin.
A few inclusions within the stone.
A few small sections possibly polished.

General age-related surface wear as can be expected.
