The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The wider snuff bottle:
- There are very minute nicks to the mouth rim, one of them possibly polished on the inner mouth rim.
- There are natural cloudy inclusions within the stone.
- There are a few short and thin natural flaw lines within the stone.
- The spoon is missing ; jadeite stopper.

The narrower snuff bottle:
- There are a few minute nicks to the rims.
- Two minute sections of the foot rim have possibly been slightly polished.
- The spoon and the stopper are missing.

Otherwise, the snuff bottles are in good overall good condition with slight general age-related surface wear and minute natural flaws within the stone as can be expected.
