A WHITE-GLAZED VASE AND A RED-GLAZED WASHER
CHINA, THE VASE 17TH CENTURY AND THE WASHER, 18TH CENTURY
The group consists of a white-glazed vase potted with a slender pear shaped body and tall neck, all under an opaque ivory glaze; and a compressed globular washer, covered on the exterior with a fine red glaze leaving the crisply cut incurving lip and interior white. Together with a bowl decorated to the interior with birds.
Vase: 12 in. (30.5 cm.) high, wood stand
Washer: 9 in. (23 cm.) diam., wood stand
