The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.

The pale celadon jade butterfly:
The two top protruding extremities of the wings have possibly been polished.
There are a few bruises to the surface.
There are a few natural cloudy inclusions within the stone.

The jadeite butterfly carving:
An approx. 1.8 cm. wide section of a wing has possibly been polished on one side.

The three carvings with a few minute nicks to the edges and rims, a few of which possibly polished.
General age-related surface wear as can be expected.
