A comparable set of six album pages by Zhou Peichun depicting Manchu and Han women's hair styles can be found in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, acquired in 1910 (E.3301, E.3304, E.3307, E,3310, E.3312, & E.3313-1910). While the six women in the V&A set are shown in half-length portraits, the eleven women depicted in this album in are shown full-length within carefully realised domestic interiors.
