We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-The chicken-bone belt hook: there is a small, shallow chip to one hind leg of the chilong. There is a tiny chip to one edge of the belt hook, which was possibly a carving flaw. There are a few nicks to the extremities. Otherwise, this is in overall fairly good condition.
-The white and russet belt hook: apart from general age-related surface wear, this is in overall fairly good condition.
