The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The cover:
-There is a short hairline across one of the leaves (measuring approx. 1.2 cm.), with a shorter hairline to another smaller leaf.
The box:
-There is a hairline visible to the exterior extending from the mouth rim, measuring approx. 3.5 cm. long
Both box and cover:
-There are areas of restoration to the rims, concealing chips and cracks which are mostly visible from the interior.
-There are some minor nicks and chips to the extremities as can be expected.
-Some of the lacquer have been touched up slightly.
