We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture. The cover: -There is a short hairline across one of the leaves (measuring approx. 1.2 cm.), with a shorter hairline to another smaller leaf. The box: -There is a hairline visible to the exterior extending from the mouth rim, measuring approx. 3.5 cm. long Both box and cover: -There are areas of restoration to the rims, concealing chips and cracks which are mostly visible from the interior. -There are some minor nicks and chips to the extremities as can be expected. -Some of the lacquer have been touched up slightly.
