We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The cup:
- There are some hairline cracks running to the sides which are associated with natural flaws and fissures of the stone and might be touched-up and polished.
- The stone has some natural snow flakes and inclusions.
- There are some nicks to the extremities.

The washer:
- There are three short hairline cracks running from the mouth rim
- The rim of the leaf-shaped foot has been polished, possibly to conceal rim chips.
- There are some shallow-chips and nicks to the extremities.
- The stone has a few snow flakes and black sprinkles.
