The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of these pieces acquired after their initial manufacture.
- All have age-related wear and minor firing flaws as may be expected.

The small 'fish and lotus' bowl:
- It has some glaze scratches and a chip to the foot rim measuring max. approx. 1.5 x 0.5 cm.

Two bowls with scrolling foliage and lotus:
- One has a small restored rim chip measuring max. approx. 0.7 x 0.3 cm, crackled glaze and several hairline rim cracks.
- The other has some restoration and has a chip to the foot rim measuring max. approx. 1.5 x 0.5 cm.

The 'lotus pond' bowl:
- There are some small chips to the foot rim.
- There is a forked hairline crack near the base measuring circa 4 x 2 cm.

The 'boys at play' bowl:
- It has some restoration and has a restored rim chip measuring max. approx. 3.5 x 0.5 cm and a small rim chip of circa 0.5 x 0.5 cm.
