- There are the expected age- cracks and internal flawlines to the stone, and age-related surface wear.
- There is an infilled rim chip of circa 1 x 1.5 cm.
- The head of the chilong that forms the handle has been restuck.
- There are some tiny nicks to the edges and some small areas of rubbing.
- The stone is of a pale celadon tone with few russet inclusions and some signs of alteration.
