We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
-The badger group: there is a tiny chip to one of the badger's ears and a small bruise to the back of the same badger.
-The monkey and peach group: there are two small bruised areas which are probably associated with natural flaws within the stone.
-The horse and monkey group: there are a few minute nicks to the extremities, some of which may have been polished down slightly.
-All carvings: apart from the above and general age-related surface wear, these are in overall good condition.
