The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One bottle:
-There are chips and frits to the extremities.
-The neck appears to have been off and restored with associated overspray.
-The mouth has been polished down slightly, possibly to conceal chips.
The second bottle:
-Two sides of the bottle have been polished down slightly to conceal chips and frits.
-There a few chips and frits to the other extremities.
-The mouth has been polished down slightly, possibly to conceal chips.
The third bottle:
-There is a small shallow chip to one corner of the base.
-There is a chip to the inner mouth rim.
The fourth bottle:
-There are chips, frits and glaze chips to the extremities, some of which have been polished down slightly.
-There is a firing flaw to one side of the bottle, resulting in a hole.
-The mouth has been polished down slightly, possibly to conceal chips.
The fifth bottle:
-There is a long hairline to one side running between the two ladies on one panel.
-There is a wide shallow chip to the inner mouth rim.
