The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
The amethyst buffalo:
-There is a tiny chip to one back hoof, and a few smaller nicks to the extremities. There are fissures to the stone.
The jade and jadeite carvings:
-These are in overall fairly good condition apart from a few minute nicks to the extremities and general age-related surface wear.
The agate figure and turquoise pendant:
-There are a few tiny nicks/chips to the extremities.
The agate 'nut' carving:
-This appears to be in overall fairly good condition apart from general age-related surface wear.
