Lot Essay

The standing lady is carved with her hair swept into a top knot, her long loose robes falling about her body, carrying a basket of peonies in her raised hands. A smaller figure of a lady stands at her feet holding a peony stem. The stone is of a pale greenish-white tone with darker apple-green inclusions.
