- This is a skillfully potted dish given the difficulties in firing a piece of this large size and the enamels are bright and finely painted.
- The dish has been broken in half and also in multiple sections to the rim, with associated infilled chips along the breaks, all of which have been sensitively restored with associated overpainting and overspraying.
- There are light scratches in keeping with its age.
